Welcome to Down South Desserts

Hello from Down South Desserts! Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. I would love to share a little about myself so that you can learn more about me and my business. 

My love for baking started as a little girl watching my grandmothers bake in the kitchen. I always wanted to be like them and create something that is not only beautiful but tastes great too. I started baking and creating my own recipes in March of 2022 and shortly after began taking custom orders to share my desserts with other people. One year later I have done 8 weddings and countless birthday cakes and hundreds of dozens of cupcakes. We are blessed to have sold out time and time again at our local events. Nothing makes me happier than seeing someone's face light up when they try my homemade goodies!

I truly would not be where I am today without my family's support and helping hands. My husband is often in the kitchen helping me complete orders and deliver desserts to my customers. We have two handsome five year-old boys and a 9-month old baby girl. My most favorite memories were made in the kitchen and I hope to share that same love of cooking and baking with my own children.
